NK Watch Director, Myeongchul Ahn, gave the welcome address at Monday’s Conference on international advocacy to act to ensure accountability for north korea’s human rights violations. He encouraged raising awareness of North Korean human rights violations.
Dr. Kwanhyung Lee, NK Watch’s Program Director, presented “NK Watch’s Human Rights Advocacy Activities and Cooperations with the International Community.” In his presentation, he discussed the purpose and process of NK Watch’s documentation of human rights abuses in North Korea, publishing and submission of petitions to the UN, and the future of NK Watch.
