In general, there are five types of prisons in North Korea. These are holding centers, correctional centers, labor training camps, correctional centers, and kwanliso. A detention center is a place where investigations are conducted prior to a trial, and it is generally considered a detention center. And in this detention center, it was decided which of the 5 prisons the prisoners would be sent to according to the quality of their crimes.
