On June 28, 2022, Myeongchul Ahn delivered a gift to Thomas O’Hea Quintana, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on North Korean Human Rights, who was in Seoul ahead of his retirement.
The gift, delivered by NK Watch, is a traditional scroll with the words of Article 1, Clause 1, of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, ” All human beings are born free and qusl in dignity and rights” written in Korean.
