NK Watch participated in 34th Regular Session Human Rights Council

NK Watch and UN Watch, an international human rights organization participated in ?34th regular session of the United Nations Human Rights Council. NK Watch and UN Watch cosponsored a side event to raise international awareness of the crimes against humanity being perpetrated by the DPRK government.

NK Watch also made a ?comment on the recent assassination of Kim Jong-nam, Kim Jong0un’s half-brother, who was killed by VX nerve agent, which is classified as a chemical weapon and strictly banned by the international norms and resolutions. NK Watch will strongly urge the international community to help bring Kim Jong-un before the International Criminal Court (ICC) for the crimes he has committed to maintain control. NK Watch will also ask the international community and the United Nations to place the DPRK on a list of state sponsors of terrorism.
