Unification Music Festival
NK Watch held its first Unification Music Festival on November 21, 2015 in Shinchon, Seoul. When NK Watch held the first round in October, nine groups were selected, and they all proceeded to participate in this time’s final round. Various artists participated and sang songs for North Korean human rights and unification. Many people came to watch and showed their hope for unification and improvement of human rights in North Korea. After the festival, there were five winners (Grand, Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Participation Prize). This festival not only united the people’s minds for North Korean people and unification but also brought out the people’s hope for them as songs. NK Watch also hopes that human rights in North Korea can improve and that the two Koreas can soon reunify peacefully.
