Round Table Meeting with UN Human Rights Seoul (2020.06.04)

On May 30th, 2020, the Report titled ‘Effects of International Advocacy toward Human Rights of North Korea’ researched by NK Watch, was published. After the publication of the report, in the morning of June 4th, 2020, NK Watch had a round table meeting with staff of the UN Human Rights Office Seoul in order to share the main content of the report and to discuss the strategies to improve North Korea’s human rights situation.

The report includes analysis of the changes of North Korean Political Prison Camps after Kim Jong-un Regime and the location of the active and inactive Political Prison Camps. Also, the report introduced the changes in human rights situations in North Korean prison/detention facilities.

NK Watch will continuously seek to cooperate with UN Human Rights Seoul for North Korean Human Rights and try hard to play a key role in improving North Korean Human Rights.
